You will be reporting directly to the Head of IT. You will be given ample opportunity to apply your learning to real commercial situations and will be fully supported in your studies.

We need a dynamic individual who can cope with the changing priorities of a growing business. You must be a can-do type of person who can ‘Embrace the tornado’.

Reality Check

This is not a shadowing role. You will be responsible for a crucial business function. You will need to spend part of your time on the phone to clients. We will expect you to work to the same standards as everyone else in the business. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills.

Role / Responsibilities

  • Working alongside the Systems and Infrastructure Administrator to ensure IT platforms (including telephony) operate sufficiently to allow business activity to work as efficiently as possible
  • Perform administrative and maintenance tasks on internal systems and platforms
  • Understand and Maintain IT logs such as security incident, support etc.
  • Provide effective user and license management to deliver value for the business
  • Assist in the delivery of an email security product to clients
  • Be responsible for the IT service desk function

This will be a customer facing role so good communication is a must

You must be enthusiastic and passionate about a career in IT
Good organisation skills and be willing to learn

Minimum 5 GCSE Grades (C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English
