Are you looking to start a finance and accountancy career with great prospects and currently not in education, employment or training? If so, CIPFA’s Accountancy Apprenticeships will offer you the chance to work, earn and learn!

Our Accountancy Apprenticeships gives you the opportunity to kick-start a rewarding career in public finance and accountancy. During the 12-month placement apprentices will:

  • Learn on the job four days a week, picking up skills and experience from mentors and colleagues
  • Study the AAT Level 4 Diploma at one of our training centres one day a week
  • Earn a competitive salary – most of our employer partners pay the Living Wage
  • Receive a planned training programme and support by CIPFA during your placement
  • Develop your skills and prospects in the competitive job market

Our apprentice roles are varied and span across local councils and central government, the NHS, charities, education and emergency services

As an apprentice, you will not only gain valuable experience and knowledge from mentors across the organisation you’re placed with, you’ll also play a key role in making a positive impact on society.
